You wont ever find RB.com playing this game

Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Purple Tuesday.

When will it ever end? What is the purpose?

It is the darkest hours of marketing and preying on human psychology…a literal race to the bottom.

Notice how it no longer is limited to these specific days but has spread like a pandemic to the entire holiday season.

A season that is designed to be all about family, gratitude, love, peace, and reflection; has instead turned into a stampede of sales. Each sale competing with the other to be the biggest, the most mega. Programs that used to be worth $470 are now apparently only worth $47. Hyperbole is the master of the universe.

Dumping as much “Made in China” stuff on us is the purpose.

Landfills are the ultimate winner of the holiday season. Landfills and credit cards companies. I am not sure how the companies dumping their wares even make a profit. It is commerce gone crazy.

If you find yourself caught up in the crazy of expressing your love and gratitude by buying gifts or worse buying gifts just because you are afraid someone bought YOU a gift…oh the horror of non-holiday gift giving reciprocation, consider instead authoring a note of specific edification and appreciation. Tell someone how they inspire you. Tell them how they contribute to your life. Tell them why you love them. Tell them why you will never forget them. Even better, do it by hand and mail it. Oh, what a gift, one they will no doubt treasure for a lifetime.

We could call it The Holidays.

I for one deeply appreciate you for reading what I write and occasionally trusting me enough to join a program or read a book. Trust and time are far more valuable than your money.
